Join Dr. Cate as she shares three key strategies to staying present to your care partner’s current stage and behaviors. This interactive workshop will provide three practical strategies for optimizing your care partnership and caregiving experience. A Practicing Presence workbook will be provided to each attendee.

  • Sensualize–using the six senses to enhance your care partnership regardless of stage
  • Validate–using centered breath and passive improvisation to navigate dementia behaviors
  • Personalize–honoring the history to maintain the present–using music, movement and tangibles to lighten the caregiving load

This is a free event sponsored by the Arden Courts of Pittsburgh. Please contact Terrie Eger, Arden Courts at 412 901-1659 to attend this seminar.
